My main research interests are in:

• extreme weather in the context of climate change

• synoptic-dynamic meteorology

• convective environments

In the past, I have also published research on:

• extratropical transition of tropical cyclones

• extreme precipitation events

• freezing rain/ice storms

My current primary research activity focuses on investigating observations and trends in heat stress across the Southeast U.S.
